Being a real estate broker and helping people find their next home is truly a dream career for me. I love walking buyers through the exciting journey of purchasing their first home, their next home, or their forever home. There is nothing quite like the moment someone walks into a house and just knows it is the one. Seeing a buyer's face light up never gets old, and mentally arranging furniture during showings is an added bonus.
The same heart goes into helping people sell. Selling a home can be an emotional process, and my goal is to make the ride as smooth as possible. I love helping sellers prepare their homes because it lets me use the creative side of my background, whether that means moving furniture, decluttering, suggesting a fresh paint color, or finding simple ways to make a home feel its best.
I grew up in the Northwest suburb of Arlington Heights and attended William Rainey Harper College, where I studied interior design. After college, I worked in the mortgage industry and learned nearly every part of mortgage lending, from opening a loan to closing a loan. With mortgage experience and a background in design, real estate felt like the perfect fit for me. I was right.
My experience in real estate has taught me how important strong relationships are. I take pride in my work, bring a positive attitude to the process, and value clear communication with my clients and referral partners. When I am not helping people buy or sell homes, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and our mini labradoodle, Beau. I am also an avid golfer, a musician, and I never mind trying a new craft beer or two.
